About Uchu Peruvian Steakhouse

Let me introduce you to Uchu Peruvian Steakhouse, a spot in Cusco that instantly feels like a celebration of Peruvian flavors with a modern steakhouse twist. Located at C. Palacio 135, Cusco 08002, Peru, this Peruvian restaurant draws you in with a warm, lively vibe that works just as well for a relaxed lunch as it does for an unhurried dinner after exploring the city. What really stands out about Uchu Peruvian Steakhouse is how it blends bold local ingredients with polished presentation, making each dish feel both comforting and special without being intimidating. Whether you choose to dine in, grab a takeaway, or enjoy outdoor seating while soaking up the Cusco atmosphere, the experience feels thoughtfully put together and welcoming from the start. The menu leans into variety, offering everything from hearty steak-forward plates to lighter options like organic dishes, a colorful salad bar, and small plates that are perfect for sharing and sampling across the table with friends or family. At the same time, vegan options and vegetarian options are clearly part of the conversation here, so everyone at the table can find something that fits their taste without compromise. Drinks are another strong point, with alcohol selections that include beer, wine, spirits, and well-crafted cocktails, plus happy-hour drinks that make stopping by in the early evening especially tempting for casual meetups. If you’re in the mood for something more relaxed, coffee is available, while late-night food keeps the kitchen relevant long after sunset. Delivery and takeaway options add flexibility for busy days, yet the friendly service, steady energy, and easygoing rhythm of the space make sitting down and letting the pacing of the meal unfold feel natural and enjoyable, especially when conversation, local inspiration, and shared plates take center stage throughout the visit. It’s the kind of place that feels social, approachable, and proudly rooted in Peru.

Spent a week in Cusco and ate here twice! We had the good fortune of having Manu serve us both times. He was friendly and made sure all of our wants were met. The food was quick and delicious! My only regret is that I’m no longer in Cusco to enjoy this steakhouse again!

This was the first restaurant we ate in Cusco. The stuffed shrimp potatoes are a must. The meat combo was alright, we weren’t too wowed by it. The trout soup was very flavorful and fresh. Reservations are a must. They tend to be completely booked during the weekends. However, we were able to get a table outside - a bit chilly but it wasn’t too bad.

We visited this restaurant on our first evening in Cusco (Oct 28), and we have absolutely no regrets about choosing it! The atmosphere was cozy, the staff were incredibly kind, and the food was just amazing. It was my first time trying alpaca steak. It tasted a bit like lamb, and my partner loved it so much! A special thanks to our friendly server "Omar", who provided such warm and attentive service throughout our meal. Sorry for leaving this review a bit late! If any Koreans happen to read this review, I highly recommend this place! The dishes suit Korean tastes very well, and the local staff are so welcoming toward Korean guests. It’ll be a truly special experience. ????????????????

I was craving anticuchos, so I decided to try Uchu Steakhouse. To my surprise, they didn’t serve real anticuchos, but they were still tasty. The maracuya juice was too sweet for my taste, but it was homemade and refreshing, unlike the store-bought flavor. As appetizers, we had guacamole and their version of anticuchos. For the main course, I ordered mixed cuts of chicken, sausage, and beef, grilled and served on a hot volcanic stone with sweet potatoes and house salad. I was glad I had chosen sweet potatoes instead of potatoes, as they were dried (my mom ordered the andean potatoes). For dessert, I ordered a chocolate cake that was like a molten lava cake with chocolate mousse, and a chocolate truffle sitting there on the side. It was good, but not the best fine chocolate I’ve ever had. I wish the dessert had been accompanied by lucuma or vanilla ice cream to cut through the chocolate sweetness. Overall, the food was good, but not the best I’ve ever eaten, especially for the price. I don’t think I’ll be returning.

I booked a reservation here for my fiancé’s birthday and it did not disappoint. I had the pork sirloin and he had the beef tenderloin, both were delicious. Our server Deyvid was so friendly and accommodating. When he found out it was my fiancé’s birthday he arrange for a complimentary dessert and sang happy birthday to him! Was a lovely restaurant with great food and service I would absolutely recommend.

We went in without reservation for party of 8. At first they said only have table of 4person x2table. We wait a while and they got us 8 person table and private. Thanks for your great hospitality. For food , without question, Hot stone steak is the best here. Our server Deyvid is so helpful. If I comeback to Cusco, will definitely come to eat here again. The price is reasonable.

Excellent food and excellent attention to detail. I reluctantly tried Alpaca for the first time and it was incredible! The staff even remembered that I was celebrating an anniversary. Probably the best dining experience my entire Cusco visit.
